At the College of Engineering, the Psychological Counseling Unit works to raise students’ awareness of the importance of combating corruption and guide them toward sound behaviors that respect human and professional values. Corruption is not limited to outward acts alone, but extends to various psychological and mental aspects that may lead individuals to make unethical decisions. Therefore, reviving religious convictions, conscience, and self-accountability play an important role in combating this phenomenon.
Everyone in the academic community must realize that respecting laws and regulations is the cornerstone of combating corruption, and that through collective action, we can build an educational environment free of unethical practices. Corruption not only harms individuals; it also hinders progress and development and robs society of opportunities for success. Therefore, we must all be vigilant and aware of the importance of combating corruption in all its forms, and not be easy prey.
